Looking for that custom fit? Many of the costumes can be fitted at your local tailor. I use one in the mall who can easily add hooks (please see example picture). The cost of three hooks, for the example pictured, was around 12 dollars.

Proper measurements are important, especially when sizing hips. All hip measurements, unless otherwise noted, are measured around the largest part of the bottom. Many mistakenly measure high hips (I used to do that myself until I learned the difference - and wondered why everything was so small on my dancer - this was why).
